How to avoid grainy, blurry, or pixelated images 1. The best solution is to only use original images that are as sharp and clear as possible and look good under the 200% test. Attempting to fix the images (by sharpening them in Photoshop, for example) can only do so much and may actually make things worse if overdone. There is no ideal way to fix poor-quality original images.
